About Catalina Suarez-Ruiz

Cataline Suarez-Ruiz is head of Business and Project Management at Polpharma Biologics Utrecht. In her current position she oversees client acquisition, project oversight, team management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the organization’s continued growth and excellence in biosimilar and NBE development services. Suarez is a Bioprocessing Engineer leader with over 10 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical field, specializing in early stage development of biosimilars and innovative biologic therapies.

She holds a PhD in Bioprocess Engineering from Wageningen University, The Netherlands and until October 2024 she was head of Downstream Processing at Polpharma Biologics Utrecht which contributes to her strong technical background in purification processes. Topic of the lecture: Rapid Streamline Process Development of Recombinant Protein Biosimilars using 3MTM Harvest RC Chromatographic Clarifier Platform.
