Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS) launched WMArchitect, a flexible, single-use platform for biopharmaceutical fluid management. WMArchitect offers both standard and customized single-use assemblies, enhancing biopharma processes, safeguarding products, and reducing regulatory burdens. It features three main solutions: customized designs, ready-to-use fluid transfer assemblies, and fill/finish assemblies. Customized designs provide tailored single-use assemblies, ensuring compatibility with existing materials. Ready-to-use assemblies streamline fluid transfers, while fill/finish assemblies protect therapeutic products during filling.

WMFTS also provides validation testing and support, leveraging bioprocessing expertise to ease regulatory challenges. Nicole Hunter, head of Global WMArchitect, emphasized the platform’s customization and comprehensive, tested solutions from a single supplier, addressing specific biopharma needs. Suitable for all production scales, WMArchitect maximizes performance where tubing meets the pump, enhancing efficiency by eliminating cleaning-in-place (CIP) and sterilizing-in-place (SIP) procedures. These improvements increase manufacturing throughput and productivity.
