As sustainability is a key priority, process development must address the steps with the highest environmental impact. However, simultaneously development in Process Intensification (PI) often leads to increased waste during harvesting.

CultureOne disc stack Single-use separators offer a solution, enabling efficient harvesting even at high cell densities, while reducing solid and liquid waste by up to 80%.

In this session, present the technology and explore how to conduct simple lab tests to predict the performance of disc stack separator technologies. These results can be scaled for large-scale GMP manufacturing using Single-Use or stainless-steel systems.
